As an aspiring television, film, and creative director my goal is to stay committed to this one mission–positioning myself to create pathways that bring the voices, concerns, and stories of underserved communities to the forefront. I am a first year student at Howard University where I study in the department of Media, Journalism, and Film at the Cathy Hughes School of Communications. I am a future tv/film professional eager to explore as much as I can about all facets of the entertainment industry.  Currently, I am especially focused on learning all aspects of tv and film producing, directing, and digital media/storytelling, so that I can combine my interest in multidisciplinary arts and my commitment to creating passion projects. One of my biggest aspirations is to launch my own creative studio, inspired by Issa Rae’s Hoorae Media, to provide a platform to cultivate and produce shared stories through a Black and female lens. As I continue to hone my skills and grow as a student of the craft, I see myself headed toward a career in producing and directing stories that appeal to diverse audiences especially as it relates to film, fashion, music, sports, and culture.
